A custom BGA rework pallets ensures thick PCB's from warping during heating and keeping the neighbor chips from reflowing at the same time. The pallet uses heat sink attachment holes to strenghten the area around the chip to keep the area flat. Rework uses nozzles which offer high localized heat which can expand the PCB in a small area, causing warpage. The pallet clamps this area tight and protects the neighbor chips from excessive heat conduction. |
